Holmes and the Stolen Stones

Holmes and the Stolen Stones Slot Review

All slot developers have jumped aboard the progressive jackpot craze as soon as Microgaming’s Mega Moolah blew the charts away. While not everyone managed to get things right, Yggdrasil Gaming certainly did with its Holmes and the Stolen Stones slot.

As the name implies, this is a full-blown Victorian era adventure mystery featuring with the world’s greatest detective as the spear against a criminal organization.
The slot’s greatest strengths are the bonus game and the five progressive jackpots that can be won by collecting the stolen diamonds of a matching color.

Holmes and the Stolen Stones Slot Gameplay and Features

The Holmes and the Stolen Stones is a very straightforward game. Even if it has five progressive jackpots, it’s very easy to play. You set your bet, hit the Spin button, or use Autoplay for automatic spins. The mechanics are not different from other Yggdrasil slots. This is a 5x3  casino slot game set with a set of symbols that match the era it takes place in.

Sherlock is in the center of a mystery, using his wits and skills to find the stolen stones. On your way to solving the mystery, you’ll be going through the base game and two exciting bonus rounds that can bring you a step closer to a jackpot.

Holmes and the Stolen Stones Free Spins and Jackpots

There are two bonus rounds in Holmes and the Stolen Stones. The first one is triggered by three or more bonus symbols. During this bonus, you may come across a bag of coins or missing diamond shards, and it ends when you find a bomb in one of the crates.
Those diamond shards are the key to the jackpots. Five of these complete one stone, while five stones give you a jackpot.
The free spins round is where you can also collect the shards. To get to it, you need three or more scatters which award 10 free spins. With four or five scatters, you also get 1,000 and 10,000 coins respectively. All line wins in the free spins round are multiplied by three.
You can win one of the jackpots by collecting five stones of matching color. The biggest one is currently over €50,000, so it’s a nice prize to win in addition to the base game scores.

Holmes and the Stolen Stones Review

If you’re a Sherlock buff and you’re looking for a new adventure to enjoy, Holmes and the Stolen Stones is a perfect pick. It’s quite lucrative in the base game and the two bonus rounds, with the star being the five progressive jackpots.

Solve the mystery by finding the stolen diamonds and you’ll be greatly rewarded for it, as befits the world’s sharpest mind.
